Deep Sleep and Daily Peace mark the Santa Fe herbal company's first gummy line, built around the idea that the nervous system needs nourishing, not optimizing
Herbs, Etc., a Santa Fe-based herbal supplement company known for fresh plant extraction since 1969, today announced the launch of its first infused herbal gummies, Deep Sleep and Daily Peace, arriving as the company marks its 57th year in business. Trusted herbs in a new format: a liquid-filled center that sets these gummies apart from others on the market.
After a decade of tracking, stacking, and optimizing sleep and stress, many people are exhausted by the effort of managing their own nervous systems. Herbalists have long worked from a different premise: the nervous system doesn't need optimizing; it needs nourishing. Deep Sleep and Daily Peace are built on that idea, offered as the night and day expressions of the same approach to nervous system support.
"We didn't set out to make sleep and stress support more complicated. We set out to make it something people would actually reach for. These gummies use the same herbs we've been growing and extracting fresh for 57 years. We just gave them a form that fits into someone's day instead of asking them to change it," said Dan Coyle, President of Herbs, Etc.
Both are vegan, gluten-free infused herbal gummies with no artificial sweeteners, built on fresh milky oats, a nervine trophorestorative herbalists have traditionally used to nourish and rebuild the nervous system over time rather than sedate it. The oats are harvested in a narrow window, when the immature seed releases a soft, milky latex, and extracted fresh rather than dried first.
Deep Sleep (cherry) is melatonin-free and non-habit-forming, made with California Poppy, Valerian Root, Milky Oats, Passionflower, Lemon Balm, Chamomile, and Reishi mushroom. The plants at the center of the formula are grown at Tesuque Farms, just outside Santa Fe.
Daily Peace (mixed berry) offers non-drowsy daytime support for stress and emotional balance, combining Lion's Mane, Cordyceps, Reishi, Maitake, and Shiitake with Fresh Milky Oats.
One Deep Sleep gummy is roughly equivalent to one and a half doses of the softgels or tinctures, so a single gummy per serving replaces the two-dose standard used for other formats. "We haven't found another gummy made with fresh Milky Oat extract, and that herb in particular only really works if you're extracting it fresh in the first place," said Sara Steinbeck, Director of Sales & Marketing at Herbs, Etc. "These gummies really work, and you can feel it!"
Deep Sleep and Daily Peace are available now at herbsetc.com, Whole Foods, Sprouts, and independent natural retailers nationwide.
